Chronosync

A great little utility that allows you to back-up, duplicate and synchronise files from ‘left to right’, ‘right to left’ or ‘bi-directionally’. You can also run simulated operations, allowing you to see what will happen before it actually does!

The free version only allows one transaction per session – i.e. you have to close it down and reload it to perform another file transaction. Registering removes this limitation.

Garage Sale

Good utility for listing items on eBay, Can use pictures from iPhoto or any file, and upload them to eBay or host them from your own URL. A very large number of templates and the ability to set a whole host of options for your auction.

However, MacFormat point out in a recent review of iSale that it has a number of advantages over Garage Sale. They include:

• Not telling you an upgrade is available but failing to tell you that it’s a new version that you’ll have to pay for, until after you’ve downloaded and installed it (and deleted the old version)
• iSale allows a number of upgrades for free, Garage sale charge for every version

However, there are a few flaws with iSale.
